Working as a waitress and looking to get out of the industry to try something different, I talked to a friend who was working as a lash technician and began telling me about her business. This piqued my already-existing interest in aesthetics, so on a whim I enrolled in the Lash Extension Basic Technique + Safety course and an Advanced Lash Extension Comprehension Certificate through Lavish lashes.

 

After that I got certified through The Esthetic Institute in 2017, where I learned facial threading, and lash + brow tinting. 

My business continued to grow, and the following year, I became fascinated with microblading - the new technique about to explode in Canada. I was Certified through HD Beauty in both Manual Microblading and Electronic Micro-shading as well as receiving a Certification in a hairline microblading course.

My desire to keep learning continued; in 2019, I advanced my lash extension skills and enrolled in a Mega Volume course through Black Cat Lashes.

One of my favourite parts about this industry is how it is ever-evolving. The technology is constantly changing, and products are continually improved upon, so you can always be honing your craft. I love discovering new techniques and can’t wait to share all of my new insights with you!

 

Recently I was Certified as a Lash Educator through Nala Association, and will soon be able to help others with an interest in the industry find their niche market and become that lash technician that clients line up to see!
